On the other side of the street (national route), you will find the entrance to a trail leading to the Gyu-Ba Douji Statue on the Kumano Kodo. This is a great spot to base your Kodo trek out of.

A water jet boat running at 40km per an hour lightly in Dorokyo Gorge.

Nachisan Seigantoji
This is said to have been designated the first of the 33 pilgrimage sites of western Japan, and is a destination of many pilgrims from all around the country. Behind the inner temple, one finds the three-stage tower colored in a bright red, standing in beautiful harmony with the Nachi no Taki falls. This is a must-see photo spot.
